Fresh ginger root goes a long way and the only way to source ginger..for anything. You can either grate it over your smoothie before blending or finely chop up a little piece of fresh ginger root and toss it in. I start with a little bit and add more to taste. I like a strong ginger flavor so I’ll usually add more than most people. If you’ve never added ginger to a smoothie, you’ll want to start with 1/2 inch or about 1 cm. I would recommend starting of with less with the option to add to taste.
2 oranges peeled
2 large organic carrots
Ginger to taste
1-2 splashes of water or ice to chill
