Waffles are delicious served as a dessert with jam and sugar and for breakfast with yogurt and fresh berries, but also for lunch or as a starter when you have guests over for dinner. Try this healthy recipe with spinach, salmon and cottage cheese. It is both delicious and very simple!
75 grams frozen spinach
50 grams butter
1 cup spelt flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1. Defrost the spinach
2. Preheat the waffle iron
3. Melt the butter at low temperature and let it cool off
4. Mix spelt flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl. Stir in the milk and egg. Add the spinach and butter.
5. Pour small amount of mix onto hot waffle iron and cook to golden brown.
6. Arrange with small tomatoes, cucumber, smoked salmon, avocado and cottage cheese.
